Hi, I'm Tara!

This project was born from a blend of emotions, travels, and inspirations. It reflects my personal story, one of movement, exploration, and creativity.

I was born and raised in Italy, surrounded by threads, buttons, and fabric scraps. Since I was little, I loved creating with my hands, bringing what I imagined to life. After studying fashion and specializing in pattern making, I worked in the industry for several years.

Meeting the World

Milan was a crucial stop, where I found opportunities, connections, and valuable friendships. But I felt there was something more, a curiosity that pushed me to look beyond.

Australia, a fascinating land I had come to love through my grandparents' stories, became a reality. I lived there for two years, gathering images and colors that continue to influence the way I express myself.

Then came India. My initial interest was yoga, but the journey turned into something much deeper. It was never just a physical journey, but an experience that shaped me profoundly. It was in India that I found the courage to turn my path into a project.

The Project

What you'll find here isn't just clothing. Every piece is designed by me and made in small artisan workshops in Jaipur. The goal is to promote authentic work based on creativity, collaboration, limited editions, and the use of existing fabrics, bringing out their potential.

Each creation comes from an encounter with the world and becomes something unique. I love getting lost in markets, among fabrics, spices, and smiles. Letting myself be inspired by an image, a feeling, a scene. And that's where it all begins: from that moment of intuition that turns into something concrete.

What I Want to Share

This space was created to tell stories and connect.
Every creation speaks not only of me, but also of you. Of those who choose with their heart, who seek quality and a mindful approach to fashion.

I share with you what comes from my curiosity and journey, hoping that it can accompany you every day, not only to be worn but to be lived.

And finally

The meaning behind “Maa Tara”

“Maa” means “Mother” in Hindi — a symbol of care, creation, and nurturing energy.
“Tara” means “Star” — a guide, a source of light, and a reminder to keep moving toward growth and inspiration.

Together, Maa Tara represents a journey that is both rooted and open, grounded and always evolving. It’s a tribute to the quiet strength behind every act of creation, and to the idea of following your own light — wherever it may lead.
